General

All reservations are subject to an administrative fee of 5.49% non-refundable.

Reservations must be made by an adult 18 years of age and over with a valid ID.

To avoid charges of a minimum of $ 50, the chalets must be rearranged as they were on arrival, the dishes must be washed and returned to the places provided.

RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICIES

A credit card is required to book our accommodations.

All our accommodations require a non-refundable deposit of 25% which is collected at the time of booking.

We are a year-round operation with our peak season being June – September and non-peak time being October – May.

Our cancellation terms fluctuate with the seasons as well.

Our motel is only operational in the peak season (June-September)

PEAK SEASON (June to September)

Deposit collected at booking (25%)

Motel units have the balance charged 3 days prior to arrival.

Loft cabins and loft cabin extras will have the balance collected 14 days prior to arrival.

The luxury loft cabins and individual cabins will have the balance collected 30 days prior to arrival.

Cancellations of the above units once the full balance has been collected will result in money becoming non-refundable.

Stat Holidays

Regardless of their date, will be treated as peak season stays, this includes stays within three days (before and after) of the stat. This includes the March break.

NON-PEAK SEASON (October to May)

Deposit collected at booking (25%)

Loft cabins and loft cabin extras have the balance collected 7 days prior to arrival.

Luxury loft cabins and individual cabins will have the balance collected 14 days prior to arrival.

Cancellations of the above units, once the full balance has been collected, will result in the money becoming non-refundable.

**For guests that do not show up for their booking, our policy is to process the payment as per usual. We also reserve the right to rebook the accommodations to another should we see fit

Please note that our office hours are from 9-6 daily.

Please call 506-876-0444 to make arrangements for late arrival, we are always eager to accommodate your needs when they are communicated to us. We try to have what you need to fully enjoy your stay, whether it be another coffee maker or extra pillows, please talk to us about your needs and we will do our best to accommodate.

Guests arriving after our office hours that have not made arrangements for late arrival will not be refunded and without arrangements for late arrival, we cannot guarantee that the accommodations will not become available to others.

Due to the recent pandemic, we use our discretion for cancellations that are based on weather or circumstances outside of our control. Gift certificates may be issued rather than funds returned.

We want our guests to have the best experience available to them.

Cancellations can become debilitating for small businesses, and we prefer to be dedicating our time to guest satisfaction.  If you feel the policies are unclear, please don’t hesitate to give us a call for further explanation.

**Off season arrivals must communicate arrival times in advance to ensure swift check in as reception is typically closed.**

Damages

Waste

Unit(s) found with waste strewn around, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to maintenance deep cleaning fee, administration fee and/or third party fees.

A minimum $100.00 cleaning fee per unit will be applied to the registered guest’s Credit Card and a separate receipt will be emailed.

Rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipment

When entering your unit, if obvious signs of damages has occurred, it is your responsibility to advise the reception or you will deem responsibility for the damages. Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, towels, art work, etc. will be charged at 120% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to the property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular unit.  Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest.  In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.

A minimum $150.00 repair or replacement fee will be applied to the registered guest’s Credit Card and a separate receipt will be emailed.

Mattresses & Bedding

Damage to mattresses and linen including; towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting from the use of hair dye, body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, etc. will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.

A minimum $100.00 cleaning, repair or replacement fee will be applied to the registered guest’s Credit Card and a separate receipt will be emailed.

OCCUPANCY PER UNIT

Any other guest exceeding the number of guests expected per unit must be added to the bill for a fee of $ 5 per day. This fee is taxable.

For motels, 4 people.

Condo-chalets, two adults and two children. For all persons exceeding this number, a fee of $ 5 is added.
Chalet, the basic price is fixed on two adults. A fee of $ 5 per day per person is added beyond the number of people set.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT

In order to make a reservation, a 25% deposit will be charged the day of the booking. All booking fees can be paid by Visa, Visa debit, Mastercard, Mastercard debit and American Express.

To guarantee all reservations for the Authentic, the Family Adventure Lodge, the Private Nature cottage and the Luxury Lofts-cabins the balance of the invoice must be completed 14 days before arrival, consequently 75% remaining amount will be charge to complete the reservation. Reservations for those units must include a minimum of two nights.

To guarantee all reservations for the Rustic Loft-Cabins in the weekend (Fridays and Saturdays) in the high season, the balance of the invoice must be completed 7 days before arrival, consequently 75% remaining amount will be charge to complete the reservation

All reservations for motels must be completed by full payment of the invoice on the day of arrival.

BOOKING ON THE SAME DAY 'WALK-IN'

Bookings made the same day or within 24 hours before the guest’s arrival are billed completely the same day.

CASH PAYMENT

Any payment made by debit or cash requires the addition of a credit card to the file. In cases where the guest does not have access to a credit card number, a cover deposit of 25% of the bill must be disbursed and will be refunded the next day upon exit from the guest, and this, after a brief check of the room or chalet, with a minimum of $ 100.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

The scheduled arrival time for guests is between 4:00 -6:00pm.

The balance of the stay is due on arrival.

The scheduled departure time for guests is 11:00 am.

EARLIER CHECK-IN

Early check-in is offered based on availability only. Please contact us.

Staff will do their best to accommodate. A charge of $ 15 per hour may be added.

LATER CHECK-OUT

Late check-out is offered based on availability only. Please contact us.

Staff will do their best to accommodate. A charge of $ 15 per hour may be added.

ACCOMMODATION FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY

Certain units are provided to facilitate the stay of a person with reduced mobility, of course, in order to ensure that you are well received, it would be preferable for you to communicate directly with us so that we can reserve the unit adapted to your unique needs.

STAY WITH A DOG

Dogs are accepted in most of our units for a fee of $ 25 per night or a fee of $ 65 per stay which is added to the accommodation fee. This will entitle your pet to receive a pup approved Wagbox!

Although pets are welcome at the Kouchibouguac Resort Stay, damage or alterations caused by their reception involve a charge of a minimum of $ 300 to cover the costs of cleaning and repair.

Dogs must always remain on a leash during the stay and damage must be collected immediately.

SMOKE FREE UNITS

Smokers should make sure to smoke outside the accommodation units. It is therefore forbidden to smoke in the rooms, chalets or all facilities of the Kouchibouguac Resort Stay, except for the section provided for this purpose.

Anyone who smokes in places not provided for this purpose may be penalized or even expelled from the property. In cases where smoke-free spaces are damaged or altered by smoke, a charge of a minimum of $ 300 will be used on the guest’s invoice to cover cleaning and repair costs. CAMPFIRE

Fires are allowed on the site, if the Province of New Brunswick agrees. Locations determined by fire containers are available on the site. Only in these spots’ fires can be made. Guests are responsible for putting out the fire and checking the fire indication on the Government of New Brunswick site.
